STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Since 1993, RG Weber Control Systems, Inc. has provided complete integration of industrial automation systems for industries throughout the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area and their branch facilities nationwide. Our employees have over fifty years of experience in the integration and support of a wide variety of industrial control systems. We have completed industrial automation projects for various companies including AK Steel, Titan Wheel International, Boeing, John Ramming Machine, Gardner Denver, and Nordyne.

The replacement of a control system, on an otherwise mechanically sound piece of industrial equipment, machine tool, or specialty manufacturing and process equipment, is defined as a control system retrofit. Cost justification for a retrofit is found in productivity gains through automation, increases in production efficiency that follow a reduction in maintenance downtime, and the reduction of expenditures for maintenance parts that accompany continued use of obsolete control system components.

Solutions are provided from a variety of sources. Proprietary hardware manufacturers, such as Automation Direct, DynaPath, GE Fanuc, Fagor Automation, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens, are utilized for Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s) and Computer Numerical Controls (CNC’s), as well as the latest in open (PC-based) controls from manufacturers such as MDSI (OpenCNC) and National Instruments (LabVIEW).

We believe that successful system integration starts with listening to our customer’s automation problems and their requirements of a control system solution. This information, combined with our experience with state-of-the-art hardware and software capabilities, allows us to offer system solutions that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.
